Community grants
Not only is Feast day a great day out for the whole family, it is a welcome fundraiser for village organisations.
After the final numbers have been determined and the surplus confirmed for the year, local organisations are invited to submit a grant request, usually by the end of August.
The requests are reviewed by the Committee and grants are allocated from the surplus funds and distributed at the AGM which is usually held in October.
Applications for grants will be considered from:
Harwell Village organisations, clubs, societies and other bodies whose activities, in the opinion of the Committee, benefit the residents of Harwell Village,
Young persons resident in the village, towards costs of personal development or training; these are limited to £300 per individual.
